It's a custom astronomical quadrant with equal hours and a calendarium, tailored to specific latitudes. Choose your closest latitude and opt to include stars (up to four). Allow approximately 14-20 working days for delivery.A versatile tool for education, makeshift navigation, and rangefinding, this double-sided Wndsn Horary Quadrant Telemeter lets you measure angular size, compute distances, heights, depths, altitudes, or elevations. It also allows trigonometric calculations (sine, cosine, tangent) using its built-in trigonometry and various scales.The backside features functions inspired by ancient astrolabes, including a degree and slope quadrant, a shadow square, sine and cosine arcs, an inclinometer scale with horary lines, and a calendarium. This enables time measurement, daylight hour visualization, and multiple sighting methods. With over 75 applications, it's an invaluable tool.Using this device, you can determine latitude (at night with Polaris), calculate declination, and measure Sun altitude. It offers 18 data points and direct calculations on the device.Wndsn Telemeters are compact, self-contained, and independent of external technologies.
