This tank now includes components to build the 20mm-armed Toldi I or II, or the 40mm-armed Toldi IIa. The Toldi, derived from the Swedish L-60, was imported to Hungary in 1937, outperforming the V-4 in trials. Designated 38M Toldi I, production began in 1939, with initial assembly using Hungarian, Swedish, and German parts. The Toldi II, produced from 1941, featured a different radio. By 1942, 190 Toldi I & II tanks were produced. Post-combat upgrades led to the Toldi IIa. These tanks can support tank and volunteer rifle companies in various campaigns.
