Tekonsha Universal Circuit Protected Taillight Converter with 4-flat connector and 12 inch leads is designed for vehicles that need a taillight converter. Adapts vehicles with separate turn and stop lights (3-wire system) to standard trailer taillight wiring (2-wire system). Works with either LED and/or Incandescent bulbs (vehicle and trailer). Does not affect the functionality of the tow vehicle's lights. Integrated re-settable short circuit protection protects the tow vehicle from harmful electrical shorts or incorrect wire connections. 2.1 amp stop light/turn signal circuit capacity; 7.5 amp taillight circuit capacity. All solid state components in converter. Will not work with low-side switch or multiplex systems. Features 60 inch long, car side 4-flat vehicle connector with cover and 16 gauge bonded wire.
