Plaster and paint over this frame and put the junction box through the frame and twist lock the fixture into the frame. - The power supply and junction box is included. The J-Box dimensions are 6.2" L x 3.2" W x 1.3” D with an installation cord from the downlight to the j box of 13”. The fixture dimensions are 8.6” W x 8.6” L x 5” D. Recommended hole cutout 6 ⅛” x 6 ⅛”.
