The JBJ Bio Aquarium Filter Cartridge is a the complete (4Stage) replacement filter cartridge for the JBJ Internal Bio Filter. This allows you to simply pull the old cartridge out and replace with the new 4 Stage Filter Cartridge. The coarse sponge and filter floss provides the mechanical filtration trapping free floating detritus keeping your aquarium water crystal clear. Along with providing mechanical filtration the coarse/porous surface allows for beneficial bacteria to grow helping with the removal of ammonia and nitrateBiological Filtration. The Activated Carbon absorbs impurities and removes odors and discoloration keeping your aquarium water healthy and clear. The Ceramic Rings provide the Biological Filtration allowing the beneficial bacteria to grow on the rings. The filter cartridge fits perfectly in the JBJ Internal Corner Filter. Simply slide out the old 4Stage Cartridge and slide in the new 4 Stage Cartridge.
